Sponsoring Imperial Classical Ballet Awards

As part of our new partnership with ISTD we are delighted to be sponsoring a number of events this year. This includes the Imperial Classical Ballet Junior and Senior Ballet Awards held at the Central School of Ballet in London. With schools competing from Malaysia, Italy, Macau, Canada, Ireland, USA, Mexico, India, Spain, Vietnam and the UK it was truly an international event.

The 587 dancers entering the online heats, which comprised eight categories, were remotely adjudicated for the online international finals. The heats were adjudicated by some of our most experienced Imperial Classical Ballet examiners, who spent an extremely busy and enjoyable few days watching and marking all the candidates, 

The UK finals, adjudicated live over two days by faculty expert Donald Vleugels and Director of London Children’s Ballet, Ruth Brill saw all the finalists taking part in beautifully crafted onstage classes taught by Imperial Classical Ballet faculty experts. The audience of teachers, students and families were wowed by the excellent work shown by all the dancers. 

Many congratulations to all the winners and we were delighted to award them with Dansez vouchers which they can of course spend on their new ISTD uniform launching this Summer!
