bbodance Scholar of the Year 2025–26
We are proud to support and celebrate the next generation of dancers through our partnership with bbodance.
Congratulations to Senior Ballet Scholar Eleanor, who has been named Scholar of the Year for the 2025–26 Scheme. As part of the Dansez sponsored award, Eleanor will receive a fully funded place on next year’s scheme to continue her training and development.
Supporting young dancers at every stage of their development has always been important to Dansez. We are delighted to continue championing talented performers like Eleanor as they grow artistically and personally.
Eleanor trains with Skylark School of Dance under bbodance Registered Teacher Anya Zhavoronkova, where she studies Ballet and Lyrical and is currently working towards Advanced 1 Classical Ballet. Alongside her classmates, she is also preparing for the school’s 10-year anniversary show this June.
Reflecting on her experience as a Scholar so far, Eleanor shared how much she has enjoyed learning from bbodance Artistic Director Anita Young MBE, building confidence in her performance quality and forming friendships with fellow Scholars.
We wish Eleanor every success in this exciting next chapter of her dance journey.
