Meet Jana – Dansez GradPro 2026 Prize Recipient

Congratulations to Jana, this year’s GradPro winner of the Dansez sponsored award.

Jana is 18, from Spain, and currently training at Tanz Akademie Zürich in Switzerland. 

“I began dancing at the age of 5 after being inspired by my older sister, who is also a dancer,” Jana shares.

After training at Escola de Dansa Marisa Yudes in Barcelona, she moved to Zurich in 2024 to continue her professional studies. “This was also my first experience living independently and pursuing my dance education abroad,” she says.

“I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and very excited about the experience with the Estonian National Ballet,” she tells us.

As part of her GradPro award, she’ll soon take part in a one-week residency with the Estonian National Ballet, including a private audition and is excited to experience company life firsthand.
