Dance Track Inspiring Young Dancers

We are delighted to announce another amazing partnership that continues our belief that everyone should have the chance to dance. We are very proud to work with Birmingham Royal Ballet’s Dance Track Programme, their flagship initiative that identifies and nurtures young dance talent across Birmingham.

This partnership means we can create uniforms that are sustainable, durable, and accessible, allowing every child to feel proud from their very first class. Our goal is to make sure young dancers can focus on their love of dance while wearing clothing that respects both people and the planet.

Dance Track is for children aged 6 to 11 and engages over 3,000 young people each year. Around 200 students are enrolled to receive free weekly training, uniforms, and additional opportunities throughout the academic year. The programme ensures that talented children who might not otherwise access dance can explore their passion.

Discovering the Next Generation of Talent

Each spring, Dance Track delivers workshops to Year 1 children in primary schools across North, South, East, and Central Birmingham. From these sessions, around 100 children are invited to join the programme, attending weekly classes completely free of charge.

Students who show exceptional promise may continue for a second year and have the chance to audition for Elmhurst Ballet School or The Royal Ballet School, with some able to stay in the programme for up to five years.

Rebecca Brookes, Head of LEAP at BRB, explains:
"Every child on the programme receives their uniform completely free of charge – removing barriers to participation and ensuring that every young dancer can feel part of the BRB family from their very first class. This year, we’re proud to be partnering with Dansez to provide uniforms that are not only durable and high quality, but also sustainable. For our Dance Track children, the uniform is more than just clothing – it’s a symbol of belonging, pride, and opportunity."

Through this partnership, Dansez and BRB are ensuring that young dancers have the tools, support, and confidence to pursue their passion. Together, we’re helping the next generation of talent shine, one sustainable uniform at a time.
