Showcasing Fabulous Dance Talent
It barely seems possible that it’s a year since we all gathered in Birmingham for the GradPro Showcase Final. The 2023 regional events have come and gone with another talented group of graduate dancers and we are now so excited to be heading towards the second Gradpro Showcase Final.
Building on the huge success of the launch of GradPro in 2022 we are also delighted to be part of the GradPro team supporting Julie Bowers and Brandon Lawrence as they continue their vision of helping dance graduates towards launching their dance careers.
In 2022 the finalists of GradPro all went on to launch their professional careers. Paige went to Cape Town Ballet, Poppy to English National Ballet, Olivia to Birmingham Royal Ballet and Mackenzie to Scottish Ballet. It just shows how an idea from people with great passion can make a positive difference to peoples lives.
This year we have worked with Julie to develop a GradPro jacket made from our beautiful sustainable fabric that is continuing the Dansez waste to wear revolution with planet friendly dance wear. The proceeds from the sales of the jacket are being used to fund future GradPro events and graduates, and of course also supporting the recovery of harmful plastic waste in our seas.
This year we have been invited to style the dancers for their onstage class during the final, so look out for some elegant new designs on the night. Tickets are on sale now for the showcase final, we will be there presenting Dansez vouchers to the finalists and we will be eagerly keen to hear where this years finalists launch their dance careers.
