New bbodance Scholars Collection

In a year where we have all had to take a fresh look at how we live, work and socialise it was a massive achievement to be able to launch the new bbodance scholars collection. A really big team effort between Julie Bowers of bbodance, Samantha Carney, MD Dansez alongside her fabulous team and of course the multi talented Brandon Lawrence. The result is a beautiful new collection of planet friendly dance wear exclusively for bbodance scholars.

Not only were we able to design and produce during the restrictions that Covid rules placed on us but through our very special partnership with Birmingham Royal Ballet we were able to run a Covid secure photoshoot with BRB dancers featuring some of the collection.

This collection uses the latest in sustainable fabric production which includes recovered ocean waste within the nylon production. Proceeds from the sale of these garments support the work of the Healthy Seas Initiative who recover ocean plastic waste and also the funding of some bbodance Scholarships places.

This project is at the very heart of the Dansez approach of special partnerships that are helping the environment and supporting young dancers.
